You will want the windows to be renewable when you can't see through them anymore. That will happen and may not take more than 10 years.

The acrylic windows on Rare Bird are almost impossible to see through.  Recent acrylics seem to be much longer lasting and have different treatments for uv and heat reflection.   Bonding them in is much better than fastenings.   Flat windows seem to last longer than curved ones.

I like the integrity of bonded in windows, I just think that ultimately they will be stronger, cheaper and probably easier to facilitate. But I worry about having to replace the glass after years of use due to crazing.

Does anyone have any advise on that?
