its interesting to note that on the same prismatic for each meter length of the WW hull
load capacity increases by approx 1,000lbs and the LW hull increases in length by
1.5m
Somewhere within that 8-9-10m WW hull is an ideal capable yet shorthanded minimum cruiser
WW..........LW
38ft 0.75 x 8.0 x 0.727 x 0.218 x 1000 = 950kg = 2092lbs
43ft 0.75 x 9.0 x 0.82 x 0.245 x 1000 = 1356kg = 2983lbs
48ft 0.75 x 10. x 0.91 x 0.270 x 1000 = 1843kg = 4054lbs
the genuine difference between them is the beam of the WW as regards interior volume leaving you more dependent on the deck cabin for useful space. In the tropics this wouldnt be a bad thing as a convertible design much like s double hotel room would see the airy deck cabin used for sleeping arrangements too.
