Thanks Luc, very good comments !

I would like to add escape hatch low in the cabins (in case of capsizing), this could double as an air intake to take advantage of the chimney effect.

For the roof mounted window, I was thinking of something like "3M™ Sun Control Window Films" to keep the heat out.
The whole top of saloon will be flexible solar cells, it is about 4 sqm.

For the LW hull height vs stayless mast, I hope Rob can be of help there ...

I made the ww hull top like this in part because I was concerned about windage (the other goal was biggest volume for smallest surface), the hope is that it will act like a aircraft cockpit canopy or half of an airship (elongated and pointy at both ends).
The more upwind the boat goes, the windage should be very low since the wind is more face on to the airship shape. The worst would be on a beam reach, but still if going at windspeed (hopefull thinking :-), the apparent wind is 45 deg to the boat which I hope would not be so bad windage for this shape ... I will try to see if I can make aerodynamic analysis of the WW hull.

Love your comment about the windows ... I could make a slightly bigger edge and divide the shape into more window panes and it would still look quite the same ...
Also, you made me realized that big window mean think and heavy and this is a big NO NO ! Same area but smaller size panes should be lighter.
