Carbon Fibre was sourced from Zoltek. You probably need to have a company setup to deal with them B2B.
The price for the UD300 material was $14.90 per pound and available in 12” and 24” wide rolls. They also have tow.

For my tender I'm currently looking at using TuffStuff made from basalt fibre and Innegra but haven't contacted a vendor yet for pricing. Innegra vendor names include sigmatex, teamtextiles, textum. TuffStuff is used to make lightweight canoes in Canada.

I am going to try building one of Rob's tenders this summer, and I figure it isn't fair to address every question to Rob, because that will probably overwhelm his internet connection (I don't know squat about boat building). I have a vacuum pump and have done a few test pieces, with no real problem except that I have a horrible time with leaks.I was hoping that people could suggest some other resources for me to read to find information on the specifics of materials to get here in the US. For example, where is a good place to get carbon tow? Any particular vendors, especially on the east coast, with good prices on foam (which seems to be about 50% of the total price!) ?Thanks all!- Gardner
