Bucket List is back on track.  I am working local company Multi Marine to get it finished, starting on Monday with the beams using a technique which requires neither moulds not mandrels.  Then the mast, which will be 4 x 6m lengths which telescope.  Partly to see if it is possible to make a telescoping rig, partly as a one, or even 2 piece mast of this length is a challenge in terms of space and ability.  The telescoping mast will have a wishbone boom (already built) which will be tied to the stub mast, also built.  The bottom of the mast will be tied to the deck so it can rake fore and aft and also cant sideways.  This is unlikely to be the configuration for the charter boat (although the telescoping might be), but should be fun to play with.

Then the lee hull arrives from Adelaide and once the beams are built, we will fit the rudder mountings and the hull sockets.  Once the.mast is built, the sailmaker can start on the sails.   then it is all the little stuff like the tramp, deck and mast fittings (not many of these), tillers and extensions to fit.

No idea when it will be finished, but at least it is moving again.

In other news, there is a partial backer for the 4 boats in a container for charter anywhere in the world idea, so this is also moving ahead.  There have also been some pretty serious enquiries for a couple of power cats, a power proa and a couple of interesting variations on the sailing harry.  Fun (but busy) times.
