Hi All,

I saw the survey for HP's. And I filled it in, mostly all no problems. Nothing worries me except lack of my own funding.

Welcome to the club!

But I was thinking back to the articles I first saw in Australian Multihulls  and Australian Amatuer Boatbuilder Mags ( i was reading both of them and saw the same article) and I enjoyed seeing the then HP on the water in Perth's Swan river.
And I think I can relate to that boat and also to the stories of Rob going out on his Elementarry, also on the river and pacing up against some local beach cats.
This is somehow more realistic than hearing elite racing stories. I mean I do enjoy that too, but hearing a more average sort of report (and picures/videos if poss) about what went on down at the local bay or beach is interesting.
I can more easily relate to sailing around and beating monohulls etc and getting to the nearby holiday island for some surfing and swimming.
As far as promotional impact goes, this sort of thing may be more helpful than big races.

I just watched the Bucket list video in Sail Anrachy (from almost 2 years ago) and it is a very well made video.
It had an obvious impression on some viewer/readers.
But the Average guy still wants a solid grounding in weekend type cruising I think.

Steinar is visiting for a couple of months and we plan to get BL launched and a bunch of videos made.

It would be good to get regular reports from any boats who are regularly cruising.
I'm not sure how often Blind Date, Rare Bird, Ono and Bain's boat (missed any?) go sailing.

If you sometimes browse around in forums you may get the impression that no HP has ever been launched and sailed anywhere as yet. The comments I was just reading are often going along the lines of: well that looks great I hope it works out well when you get it launched, i think the concept may well work, and so on.
This is partly aimed at the latest design, but seems to also say we have to wait for Bucket List before it's accepted.
I guess this is a study in media or markets or something like that.

Actually, it is a study in internet forum trolling.  The people who spread the impressions are people I have had run ins with in the past.  Generally, but not always, about harrys vs traditional types.  Stirring them up used to be an effective way of generating interest and discussion about harrys.  These days, we have more work than we can handle, so I ignore them.
