Cool boat!  Be interesting to see how it goes.  The untapered mast works pretty well with square top mains and is easy to build.  A straight taper is also easy to build and works with pin head mains, but looks weird to me.  Variable taper is a lot of work to build.

Well thought out planning for raising mast, folding etc.


Mast step/bury section takes some getting used to, super wide at top, and narrow on bottom.

I'd like to see the mast taper down as you get up the top as well.

Don't like the large wing section continuing all the way to the top.

Reminds me of that mast that broke.
