In a sense a discovery of what makes these new Tri's sailable/saleable/adaptable/popular might be worthwhile. Like TrailerTri they just seem to hit a note somewhere that resonates with the sailing community. But as you indicate, development capital has enabled them to unlock and maximise this formula.

Im not that much into racing, the adage about standing in a shower tearing up $100 bills seems to stand true for me. But I do recognise that almost any boaty will attempt to light his boat up when another vessel comes alongside. To me these Tri's seem to have found a balance between comfort and speed that appears to satisfy people. However looking forward as Mike and yourself point out, without a rabbit to pull out of a hat these compact proas will share winners and losers.

Another little ingress, what Mike aptly terms HarryCat might hold another asset, as I recall multihulls compete in class racing based on their LOA?
