  That's music to my ears.

  We've got several miles of short-tacking to get out of our inlet when daysailing, and I'm already unsure about going with a schooner rig because of the extra work to adjust the second sail each shunt.  Heck, I'm almost sold on the telescoping mast for this reason, and that's something I never thought I'd hear myself say.

  Rotating both rudders would put me over the top in terms of effort, so I've been eagerly looking forward to news on the bidirectional rudders.

  Thanks for the videos.  That looks like a good speed with a pleasant apparent wind in your face for such flat water.

Tom Speer's theory works up to 9.5 knots in +/- 15 knots of wind. I have not experimented beyond that yet.
