The tendency in modern comfort cruising catamarans is to have the ever larger windows straight up with a roof overhang, I guess sufficient for equator sun angles. It is hard to convey an impression of speed in the side profile this way. But despite this clash in aesthetics this must be what floats up in marketing surveys.

If anybody could save looks and sun protection it would be Steinar. But can the sailor in him give up aerodynamics?
