Changing to vertical or reverse sloping windows is not a big deal, with or without an overhang,  nor is making them smaller.  Owner's choice, along with the cabin layout.  I personally prefer the sloping windows and good ventilation, either through the windows or via large vents in the bridge deck, where the air is cooler due to it's proximity to the water.

I've often thought the windows on cruising size harrys would be a nightmare of a greenhouse anywhere near the tropics.  How absurd would it be to oversize the coach roof and have the windows slant inward?  Somewhat like the setsail FPB windows.  The roof overhang would function as a built in visor for the windows.  Say on a C50 or C60.

It would most likely look ridiculous.  I've tried to sketch it out but my stick-man caliber artistry barely lets me visualize it, much less get it on paper.

I've thought this for a while now and usually brush it off as crazy but the idea keeps coming back.  Somebody talk me out of it?  Somebody sketch it out so we can make fun of it together?
