Changing to vertical or reverse sloping windows is not a big deal, with or without an overhang, nor is making them smaller. Owner's choice, along with the cabin layout. I personally prefer the sloping windows and good ventilation, either through the windows or via large vents in the bridge deck, where the air is cooler due to it's proximity to the water.

How absurd would it be to oversize the coach roof and have the windows slant inward? Somewhat like the setsail FPB windows. The roof overhang would function as a built in visor for the windows.
