The 360 degree views of the X40 revisited are stunning in elegance and economy of space. Excellent use of the "through" of the ww hull.to equalize head height while standing, high seated or regular seated.

Thanks

What is the deck clearance height of the first platform?

270mm/10.5" and it is 670mm/26" wide.  The next one is 565mm/22" and 1220/48" wide. The rest is 770mm/30" high, less a bit where the tender hulls protrude.

I suppose there are no structural impediments to also have windows on the lee side to create that modern catamaran 360 view? External window covers there could double as outside seat back cushions.

MNo reason at all.  I would if it was mine.  They could also be opening as they are to leeward so unlikely to leak.

The tiller arrangement looks a bit like Jacknife's. With push pull rods?.

Full circle quadrants and lines, although push/pull could be used.  There are a lot of options for the steering.  The first boat looks like it will have 2 tillers on a common axle in the centre of the boat to allow it to be steered from inside and without having to change ends.  Tillers and extensions are another.

I have the impression that this configuration would also simplify the Air40.

Yes, and some of the bigger boats.

Impressive, Steinar..

Agreed..
