Do you feel this is 'a complex conversation'?

IMHO, this has become a discussion of feelings and guesses. Something it was not recently. I see no hard data or information being discussed currently. If I am wrong, I am open to having the hard data or complexity pointed out to me.

>The attitude isn't needed for those who agree with you. And for those who don't yet agree with you, it's not going to help sway opinions.

I am not sure anyone should value those who agree with them solely because they agree with them! Do you?

This is not a popularity or consensus building event in my eyes. There is physical reality here, and it can be engaged directly. I do not see how the properties of any material we have discussed is influenced by popular opinion and winning friends, or the converse. Do you?

>What's particularly confusing is that StoneTool has been supportive of XPS, at least for certain uses. Why get testy with an ally?

I am very confused that you view my points as me getting testy with him. If it was unclear, i was mocking him. Again, I do not understand how a discussion of the physical properties of boat building materials intersects with the political. But, again, I am open to having it pointed out.

This thread has documented and discussed the grades and costs of various materials, the requirements to engineer a panel, and the properties needed in that core material. Also, we have discussed what properties are less relevant to panel construction.

Do you feel the 'bendiness' of a random piece of foam adds to that? Or can you point some sort of value added to this factual discussion in the recent discussion?

I mean, we love everyone. And every input is valued. Right?
