From what I read, those cores will consume resin to create a honeycomb-structure, which will make the core very tough, but might also consume so much resin that they will be more expensive than other cores.

Where did you find the spec of 3mm, and what is the size of the boat?
I think numbers I read earlier in this thread was 15 or 25mm.
A rough figure I have gathered from different sources is that a suitable thickness is 1-2mm per meter of boat length.

Mind that I'm far from an expert. And have never built a boat with foam core.

I only need 3mm to meet Robs specs for his boats.

Should probably do a spread sheet to track properties and costs.

If SORIC or 3d core can do what H80 can, cheaper, then yay!
