There were a series of Ex40 renderings back in 2015 showing it
from several angles, both sailing and folded. I can't find all
the images, but this one of the folded proa still exists at
archive.org.

The previous Ex40 was very similar to the current one. Changes to
Mark II:
- A bit less rounded
- Sleeker saloon windows
- Galley/head/bar/ single to right instead of table/double bed
- Table/double bed to left, with rotating stools and standing
headroom to windward
- Solid cockpit/deck area
- Combination catamaran dinghy and motor sled, covered for
leeward deck
- Tillers in cockpit instead of on the rudders with long
extensions
I thought the original design was brilliant, but this new one is
a huge step up. If the new version also folds, it's essentially
everything I could want in a boat. One could ask for more, of
course, but not in anything trailerable.
So far I haven't said anything because I was so excited about
the first version, and didn't want to sound like I just fall in
love with new designs every day. But since the question came up
about the original sketches, I had to voice some praise.
The /only/ thing I'd change is to add on some removeable
wraparound cockpit seating. Perhaps something that slots with
pegs into recessed keyholes, closing off the "aft" end of the
windward cockpit seats. But that's easily done, even after the
boat is built, so it's almost not worth mentioning.
Now I regret building the house that we're still working on.
It's our dream house, which is great, but the overages could have
easily paid for the new Ex40.
Rob and Steinar: you have really outdone yourselves. I'd go on
for another six paragraphs, but I don't want to annoy anyone.
