It is not the usual way of building with flat panel.  Only one side of the glass is sheathed as flat panel.  And sheathing can be single sheets so avoids handling long panels.  With normal stitch and glue the panels are made full size, cut to shape then fitted into a strongback for the inside chine join to be sheathed. 


Infusion is relatively high risk of losing a lot of material if something goes wrong during the infusion.

    That sounds like the normal way to build, usually bulkheads and stringers are the form, and remain in the boat.   It may be the simplest, but it is very labor intensive, as the entire exterior surface must be finished, and of course building the interior is labor intensive also, crawling in and out fitting the pieces, etc.
