| Mission is important to consider here.   A 40' HP might be cheaper and faster than a 30' cat, but it doesn't begin fulfill the same mission based on the cutaways I've looked at.

Perhaps you might take this opportunity to state your mission and how the Ex40 does and does not meet your needs to your mind.

For me, perhaps others, the statement that 'this does not meet the mission' is not as valuable as seeing the thinking behind the conclusion. Your thinking on the matter is far more valuable.
