I'm here as an admirer of Rob's innovative designs and solutions, and building techniques, not to decide what boat to build. The HPs are great boats, and caught my eye the first time I saw a photo of one. I will keep my own council on what to build and why. This forum is about HPs, their design and features and how they are built and sailed. I have no interest in converting anybody to my way of thinking, or vice versa, or making a legal case of why a 30' cat serves my needs as opposed to an HP. As one member pointed out the other day, if one could build a boat from internet posts, I would have one built by now.... I rather appreciated that observation.

Perhaps you might take this opportunity to state your mission and how the Ex40 does and does not meet your needs to your mind.
For me, perhaps others, the statement that 'this does not meet the mission' is not as valuable as seeing the thinking behind the conclusion. Your thinking on the matter is far more valuable.
Perhaps, on another thread? Although that's probably not a requirement..
