You did not assume wrong.  Intelligent Infusion does all that, but without the hassle of building individual panels, matching up the seams, making them airtight (probably the most time consuming part of the job, certainly the most frustrating) laying the tape and using spray adhesive.   Why do all the extra work?

I was hoping that you would explain to me that you have this new infusion technique that you recently developed for doing seams such as mine,  All I have to do is make the seams match up, then lay the glass tape on both sides of the seam using spray adhesive, and put vacuum bagging film over the joint and infuse...... Both sides of a taped seam infused, very little finishing to do.  I assumed wrongly, that this was part of intelligent infusion.... ;-(
