That is to say. not the usual developed hulls which take some work to move around the country or further. But as a replacement to the plywood idea, infused foam panels in whatever dimension works, be it 8x4, 10x5 etc.

The way the 40 is configured at the moment probably isnt conducive to this, so it would mean some changes, and there would be issues in scarfing and things for the prospective builder to fully and coherently engage with. Its still not simple, but it would perhaps be simpler and more attractive knowing that, at least the critical bits are going to be right. and it speeds up the build.

The differences would be things like prepped tabs and windows are a bit difficult to pre build into the panels. It would perhaps be more like a plywood boat, cut the sheets, glue the parts together.

just an idea for which the 40 is probably better disposed than most
