The title says it all........... Or most of it anyway.

It seems logical to me to build wiring channels / conduit directly
into infused panels....... OR actually lay wiring between layers of
glass in an infusion.   Properly fused / circuit breaker, there is zero
fire danger.

This of course involves planning..........    Conduit offers more
flexibility than laminated in wiring, but there really is no reason not
to have extra conductors.

I actually lean toward having 12 volt lithium power tool battery
packs for area lighting, and power for radios & nav equipment, and a
charging station or two, to avoid unnecessary wiring.    LEDs use so
little power, that this is practical.

Several 110 power points in strategic locations make sense. Large
power consumption things like refrigeration and watermaker would be
located very close to the main battery bank(s).

Main power from charging system to batteries, engine starter(s),
would be in conduit.

I like simplicity!   The other day I tore all the wiring out of a
diesel powered backhoe except the bare minimum.   It has a wire from the
battery to the starter & alternator, which has a built in regulator that
requires no external wiring, and a wire to the starter button and back
to the starter solenoid (on the starter).  A master disconnect on the
ground cable at the battery box.   NOTHING ELSE.   No on off switch,
nothing.   You start it by pushing the button, stop it by pulling the
shut off cable. No more electrical problems, no dead battery.   Gauges
are mechanical.

Things you don't have, cannot fail..........ever.

                                H.W.
