This would be my concern too. When i first brought up XPS Rick W spoke about water infiltration so repeatedly I thought he must have misunderstood and thought I meant bead foam.
I am willing to give a vac infused bead foam a chance, but i have doubts. I think the closed cell structure of XPS is a huge advantage.
