  The boat should motorsail fine with the leeward hull to windward unless:  a) there's more than 5-10 knots of wind, or  b) there are big or lumpy seas (in which case you don't get the benefit of having the short hull to windward).

  But if you're motorsailing, then neither one of those things are happening.  If there's too much wind to put the ww hull to leeward, then just sail.  And if there's a very odd combination of rough water and no wind, then just drop the sails and motor properly.
