| For the best result the resin has to flow as long as possible to create an even resin/glass ratio over the whole surface. Depending on size and infusion strategy say 3-4 hours or so. | | By that time there will be a stable balance. Gelling any sooner will create an over saturated laminate at the feeding side where the vacuum pressure is much less than on the vacuum side. So a resin with a max of 200 mpa viscosity and a gel time of at least 8 hours is desirable for infusion. That also gives some more time for the "oh sh*t" happening. Pot life is not very interesting.

Dennis;

On your site, under selected products, http://www.fram.nl/workshop/products/products.htm
you list bakelite ag
http://www.bakelite.de/eng/index.htm
As your epoxy supplier. It seems bakelite is gone many years?
What epoxy did you use, and can we get its performance data?
How does 300 cps compare to 200?
How does 6 hours compare to 8?
