Do you have a recommendation for a release wax?

| The epoxy wil soften at less than 100C/212F so more than a blanket,
| less
| than a flame. Hot air guns, or blower heaters work well.

| Depends on the epoxy. Some are brittle ebfore full sure and will
| chip off,
| others are soft and won't. The less it is cured, the lower the heat
| to
| soften it and get it off.

| The part, but gently and over a reasonably large surface area. ie
| don't
| put the nozzle of the heat gun against the epoxy and turn it on high
| for 10
| minutes.

| release won't affect the finish if applied properly. Plastic sheet
| might
| and might also show wrinkles if there is no peel ply layer.
| Unpoilshed wax
| might leave a residue on the part making painting or secondary
| bonding
| difficult.
