How will epoxy bond to glass fibres with vaseline on them?
Wax is harder (when dry).than vaseline, so shouldn't stick to the fibres, imo

I am using Vaseline. I put a very small amount on the mold and hit it with a heat gun and it flows everywhere and stays when it cools. I end up removing some large portion of the small amount as I work it around and into the mold with paper towel. Seems to work. I am also using it on anything I want to get epoxy off easy, like fittings.

Will update if I notice any problems.
