Have to say this forum rocks, have posted questions on boatdesign.net and sailing anarchy and that usually devolves into condescension and conflict in a post or two. I guess because the "experts" have an interest in making it out to be more difficult than it is so they can do it for you? or it's their way or the highway. 
You guys are smart, informative and civil, have learned a bunch by reading past posts here. Thanks!! 

Jeff : That's a very interesting project, wasn't aware of pypilot, very cool to see an open source project coming up to challenge the incumbents.
Will take a deeper look into that.
