If we assume MC's 48' maxi trailer HP as a starting point, how do we mast it?

If teloscoping is to much hassle, the that kinda limits the masts to, what, 70' if they stick out over the truck hauling the boat? Is that a workable number? Is that a mast us home builder can build?
