There is only one board located in the middle of the boat.  It swings up and down.  It has two positions - up or down.  It is down going to windward and up when off the wind.  The board is bi-directional.

There are two relatively small rudders.  They are located under the hulls and always immersed.  They are unidirectional blades and can continuously rotate.

Assuming there is enough lift from the back board or is the back board too small due to practical limitations.
