Doug,

  Foldable might not be as much of a problem as you think.

  With scissors-type beams shown on the first iteration of the Ex40, you could fold the boat while on the water, using a winch and a few blocks to cinch it tight, and then float it onto a fixed trailer.  Or was that the Air 40?  In either case, the trailer could be fixed.

  That's a nice option when compared to the telescoping beams and telescoping trailer that I have to deal with on a trailerable catamaran.  The trailer never worked well, so we've just paid for boatyard storage for the past ten years.

Yeah, those are the closest HP's. Its just inbetween El Camper and Exhilarator somewhere.
Foldable would mean the whole boat needs a special trailer and winch to use at boat ramp, so more cost.
Serate the hulls, beams maybe cockpit also then just a flat bed car trailer that could be hired might do. Not sure about length limit.
