Sure H.W. that is all true enough. People like me have had plenty of fun coming to know more about boats and proas and stuff. I learned a few new things in the last few days about centreboards and actually wonder if that shouldn't be a standard HP part.
I think it is just a slight snub to Rob id someone doesn't buy his plans but obviously makes an imitation HP.
But that is also adventurous and good luck to them, it adds to the boats sailing and so on.
But this one looks like a blatant commercial attempt at a ripoff.
But who knows, perhaps its someone who is in touch with and on good terms with Rob.
Hard to tell from one webpage.

It does seem like an opportunity though to brand or patent it and do the marketing stuff and basically steal the idea.
Not sure if that can happen in the sailing community, seems like it will always be slow to change.

It would just be annoying if the style took off eventually but was called something else and the HP name was forgotten about.
