Yeah, i thought of how bolting on bows wouldn't be to hard, with one access hatch on top to reach in and tighten nuts inside hull.
Probably be pretty strong too. All the lamp posts and so on are bolted down similarly so must work ok.

Not sure what you mean about lee into a trailer. Or for just walking down, not behind car.
