Agree about the rudder being visible.  Also means shorter tiller extensions, which makes flipping the tillers easier.  Beams are offset to make it easier to build.   Boom angle is optional, depending on prospective use.  Clear windows are fine.

The rudders rotate through 230 degrees to allow 25 deg of steering either side of straight.  Do not read too much into the renderings, the rudder design is not yet final.  

Lifting usually only happens with the front one, so it tends to kick up, then post shunt, it tends to want to go down.  With a bit of line tweaking and bungy, this is almost automatic.

I think I'd miss not being able to watch the rudder go through the water. And I guess know when it has some seaweed on it as well.

Though the tiller on deck could be useful.

Is it demountable beams?
Is that the main reason for offset beam to masts?

Going for full sails and not the angled up to boom ones on other renderings.
Guess no problem with clear windows?
