This is one of the reasons I've been toying with low density ordinary XPS foam......  With  Stru Cell there is no longer a real cost befit to alternative foams, but the lower density foam has a minimum available thickness of 25mm", and that's considerable R factor compared to something like Divinicell at the same weight, which would be about 12mm.    The lower compression strength could be compensated for where it matters, using a layer of CSM, or even carbon fiber for stiffness.    Better R value means your condensation problem disappears, and that's a huge benefit over a glass boat or plywood boat, when one is sailing in northern climates.......more so when it is sitting at anchor probably.    Insulation, flotation, sound deadening, condensation............   Boats living in places like Puget Sound, Cape Cod, The Great Lakes, Northern Europe / UK, have problems with condensation to the extent that they often have dehumidifiers, air circulation fans heaters, etc, even when unoccupied at a slip, to prevent condensation damage, mold or mildew, etc.   That alone is a case for building in foam sandwich.

Can I ask for more details on why the HP is a Southern boat?
I have been considering cold weather cruising in a HP. It seemed a good fit if one thickened the foam.
If anyone has any thoughts, please share.

We all know how they work. We just dont know how the latest generation will be built. It was all settled until Steinar got to close to Rob and reality stared distorting. But yes, fully sorted rudders would be nice.

Weren't we supposed to get an Rob article about rudders?

I love the pypilot idea of hacking automotive window wipers to drive the rudders. I think they could be great for bidirectional rudders.
