Besides, I'm still at the design's "look and feel" phase. As I get more edumacated about what I can do given limitations of shed size, physical ability, build as much of the components and shell as I possibly can inside the confines of a (small) two car garage, then that will shape the way I'll go about building it, I guess. 


Those conic sections not just a design choice, but a coordinate system. I'm deliberately staying away from blocky design cues and going for organic. Who knows, that conic can serve as the basis for the mold. Part of my desire is to reduce the sanding and faring as much as possible and if I can can a smooth conic mold and peel ply I'd go that direction for sure.
