Horizontal cs angled boom discussion is on going. Normal, with a sail track, is angled. I am experimenting with horizontal in conjunction with a tied on sail as it is cheaper, easier to build and lighter, but needs extra control lines, which are not a big deal. . There are issues with lowering the sail past a horizontal boom, which is.
